Viper Coil Coating is a high-performance protective sealant that forms a durable barrier against environmental corrosion on metal surfaces.
Engineered to extend the life of HVACR components and other exposed metal structures, it is ideal for coils, condensers, evaporators, radiators, and intercoolers. Unlike water-based alternatives, this solvent-based formula bonds effectively to base metals even when some oxidation or corrosion is present, ensuring maximum adhesion and durability.

BENEFITS
- Superior Corrosion Protection– Shields metal surfaces from saltwater, industrial chemicals, and harsh environmental conditions.
- OEM Approved Formula– The same formulation supplied to heat exchanger manufacturers and HVACR OEMs.
- High Surface Coverage– One can coats the full coil surface area of a 30kW condensing unit.
- Deep Coil Penetration– The flat vertical spray pattern reaches deep into the coil body.
- Minimal Heat Transfer Loss– Less than 15% heat transfer loss when applied correctly.
- Fast Drying & Long-Lasting– Bonds quickly with no softening or blistering, unlike water-based coatings.
APPLICATION AREAS AND SURFACE SUITABILITY
Viper Coil Coating is suitable for use on:
- HVACR condensers & evaporators
- Radiators & intercoolers
- EV thermal management heat exchangers
- All bare metal components exposed to corrosive environments
HOW TO USE
Always wear protective gloves, goggles, and clothing when applying this product. Use in a well-ventilated area with ambient temperatures between 10°C and 32°C.
APPLICATION:
- Prepare the surface– Clean the coil with Viper Brite (Part # RT300G) to remove all oxidation and contaminants.
- Rinse thoroughlyand allow the surface to dry completely.
- Hold the aerosol can approximately 50mm from the surface.
- Apply a single even coatto the front and back of the coil and all exposed metal parts.
- For additional protection, coat surrounding metal surfaces.
- Allow 30–60 minutes for drying. Full cure time may vary depending on weather conditions.
FAST FACTS
- 92% Product to 8% Propellant Ratio– Ensures greater surface coverage than competitors.
- Ideal for Large Coils– One can effectively coats the surface area of a 30kW condensing unit.
- Flat Vertical Spray Pattern– Reaches deep into coil bodies for comprehensive coverage.
- Solvent-Based Formula– Bonds to base metals, even with minor oxidation, for enhanced durability.
- No Blistering or Softening– Unlike water-based coatings, Viper Coil Coating dries fast and remains tough.
NOTE: Always follow manufacturer instructions before use. Store in a cool, dry place and apply in well-ventilated conditions.
