Two different hazards. Two distinct workflows.
Biohazard cleaning and meth-residue remediation should not be treated as one generic cleaning task. Start with the relevant pathway.

Plan before products
Protection, control and verification belong in the same plan.
Product selection should follow the hazard assessment—not lead it. A professional setup considers people, work zones, surfaces, waste, equipment, cleaning chemistry and required verification together.
High-level project sequence
A controlled professional workflow.
The exact procedure must come from the project assessment, applicable requirements and qualified professionals. This sequence only shows where product groups commonly fit.
Assess
Define the hazard, scope, surfaces, access and project requirements.
Plan Controls
Establish PPE, containment, work zones, equipment and waste pathways.
Inspect or Sample
Use the assessment or sampling approach appropriate to the project.
Clean & Treat
Follow the approved process, product labels and surface requirements.
Handle Waste
Manage disposable items and project waste using the required controls.
Verify
Complete required inspection, documentation and clearance steps.
Equipment and application
Support controlled cleaning and decontamination work.
Choose equipment for the assessed hazard and work method. Fogging or spraying is not a substitute for required physical cleaning, source removal or verification.
Air Scrubbers
HEPA air-management equipment for suitable controlled work areas.

Small products can be critical to project control.
Sampling consumables, wipes, bottles, dispensers, waste bags and disposable supplies support organised workflows and reduce improvised handling on site.

Product selection FAQ
Common questions before ordering.
Are biohazard cleaning and meth remediation the same?
No. They involve different hazards, assessment requirements, processes and verification pathways. Product selection must follow the specific project scope and professional advice.
What PPE should be used?
PPE must be selected from the assessed hazard, exposure route, product safety information, work method and applicable requirements. A generic kit is not suitable for every project.
Do I need testing or clearance?
That depends on the job, location and required outcome. Meth-residue and some biohazard projects may require qualified assessment, sampling, documentation or clearance.
Can disinfectant replace cleaning?
Not usually. Soil and contamination can interfere with treatment, so required physical cleaning and source-removal steps should not be replaced by a simple spray application.
Can fogging decontaminate a whole property?
Fogging is only one possible application method and is not suitable for every product, surface or hazard. It does not replace required assessment, physical cleaning or verification.
Can you help select products?
Yes. Provide the project type, assessed hazard, surfaces, specified process and products or equipment already available. We can help identify relevant product categories.
Need help sourcing the setup?
Send us the professional project requirements.
Restoration Warehouse can help source PPE, chemistry, sampling consumables, containment supplies, waste products and equipment for qualified decontamination projects.
