Overview

Water extraction machine for flood restoration

The Proventa PVX-45 Flood Extractor is Restoration Warehouse’s industrial water extractor for professional flood recovery. Use it to remove standing water and draw moisture from saturated surfaces before structural drying begins. Connect a 51 mm (2 in.) extraction hose and a tool suited to the surface to recover water from carpet, underlay, upholstery and compatible hard surfaces.

Two independently switched 1100 W AMETEK vacuum motors let the operator run one or both motors. Recovered water passes through a removable debris basket into the 45 L nominal tank. The PVX-45 is an extraction-only machine: rinsing water, cleaning solution or pressure must come from separate equipment.

Automatic pump-out fitted as standard

The level-controlled pump discharges through a DN20 (3/4 in.) Camlock outlet with a check valve and cap. Pump-out flow is up to 45 L/min under favourable conditions; lift, hose length, restrictions and debris reduce flow. This is the discharge pump’s capacity, not the vacuum extraction rate. A capped side drain hose also allows manual emptying.

On the job

  • Tank protection: a high-level float restricts airflow as the tank fills. Monitor suction and foam throughout use; usable tank volume depends on the basket and float level.
  • Handling: large rear wheels, front swivel castors and integrated handles help position the rotomoulded polyethylene machine on suitable surfaces.
  • Clean-up: the removable basket and accessible tank make it easier to empty, rinse and dry the machine after each job.

What’s included

One PVX-45 with automatic pump-out and a detachable 5 m earthed AU/NZ power lead. This is a machine-only offer. Extraction hose, wand or extraction tool, and pump-out discharge hose are not included.

Owner’s manual and care

Download the Proventa PVX-45 owner’s manual (PDF) — AU/NZ edition, revision 1.6, September 2026.

For trained operators working indoors or in sheltered commercial conditions. Use a correctly earthed 220–240 V AC, 50 Hz supply. Keep electrical connections dry, select a drainage method before starting and never leave the machine operating unattended. Maximum recovered-water temperature is 35°C. Switch off and unplug before manual draining, cleaning or inspection.

Warranty and support

The one-year parts warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship from the original purchase date, subject to the terms and exclusions in the owner’s manual. Labour, diagnosis, removal, installation, freight and site costs are excluded unless required by law or agreed in writing. Statutory consumer rights are unaffected. Benefits

Independently switched motors
Use one or both vacuum motors to suit the recovery task.
Automatic pump-out
The level-controlled pump discharges recovered water through the DN20 Camlock outlet.

Applications

  • Professional water recovery from carpet, underlay and upholstery with a compatible extraction tool.
  • Water extraction from suitable hard surfaces in indoor or sheltered commercial work areas.

Usage Guide

  1. Read the manual, inspect the machine and lead, and fit a suitable 51 mm extraction hose and tool.
  2. Choose the drainage method before use. For automatic pump-out, connect a compatible discharge hose to the DN20 outlet.
  3. Start the motors separately, monitor recovery, then switch off and unplug before manual draining and cleaning.

Safety

  • Use a correctly earthed 220–240 V AC, 50 Hz supply. Keep electrical connections and controls dry.
  • Never leave the machine running unattended. Stop and inspect the tank if suction changes or foam builds up.
  • Maximum recovered-water temperature: 35°C. Do not recover flammable liquids or hazardous dust.
