Surface Preparation:

• Surface must be thoroughly cleaned, dry and structurally sound
• Follow full smoke odour management process including cleaning and neutralisation
• Recommended pre cleaning with RECON Heavy Duty Cleaner or Extreme Duty Cleaner
• Follow with RECON Extreme Duty Odour Counteractant prior to sealing
• Apply only after substrate preparation is complete

Application Method:

• Apply using brush or airless spray equipment
• Brush: synthetic, nylon or polyester bristle
• Spray pressure: 2200 to 3000 PSI
• Spray tip range: 0.017 to 0.023
• Apply evenly and ensure full surface coverage
• Two coats may be required for porous or heavily stained surfaces
• Roller application not recommended

Drying Times:

• Touch dry: 30 minutes at 70°F and 50 percent RH
• Recoat time: 4 hours at 70°F and 50 percent RH
• Minimum topcoat time: 24 hours

Topcoating Requirements:

• Light sanding required before topcoat
• Clean surface prior to coating
• Use 100 percent acrylic latex coating only
• Minimum eggshell sheen or higher
• Do not use alkyd, enamel or oil based coatings
• Test patch recommended before full application

Safety and Handling:

• Store between 10°C and 32°C
• Do not apply below 50°F or on wet substrates
• Maximum substrate moisture content 15 percent
• Ensure adequate ventilation during application
• Use NIOSH approved respirator when spraying
• Do not mix with other coatings or solvents
• Clean tools with warm soapy water before drying
