Overview
The Tramex Building Survey Inspection Tech Kit is a compact kit comprising of the Moisture Encounter MEX5 and a pin electrode and allows for both non-destructive and pin moisture content readings of drywall, wood, plaster, brick, ceramic tiles, resilient flooring, laminates and roofing and numerous building materials.
The Moisture Encounter MEX5 moisture meter measures moisture content in wood and drywall and provides comparative readings in a variety of building materials. It features dual depth measuring range with shallow depth up to ⅜” (9mm) and deep depth up to 1¼” (30mm).
The MEX5 also includes a built-in hygrometer for ambient conditions and psychrometric values, and an infrared surface thermometer for surface temperature readings.
Bluetooth connectivity allows use with the Tramex Meters App for data reporting and moisture mapping.
